Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data BitEasy ("we") collects when you use biteasy.app and its services (the "Service"), why, and the choices you have.

BitEasy is a read-only market data and strategy signal service. We never ask for exchange API keys and never collect your balances, positions or trading activity.

Information We Collect

We collect only what the Service needs:

• Account data: your email address, an optional display name and avatar, and your password, which is stored only as a bcrypt hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address, name and profile picture.
• Subscription data: your plan, billing period and order history. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout and never reach our servers; we keep Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers.
• Preferences you set: signal alert settings (symbols, email on or off), your smart-money watchlist and notification read state.
• Messages you send us: feedback and support requests.
• Technical and security data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and sign-in history (time, IP and approximate location) used to protect your account.

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Provide the Service, including your plan's access level and realtime or delayed content.
• Send the alerts you opt into and essential account emails (verification, password reset, billing).
• Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access.
• Answer support requests and improve the Service.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that run the Service on our behalf (payment processing by Stripe, email delivery, cloud hosting, storage and, if enabled, website analytics), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law.

Retention

We keep account and subscription data while your account is open and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations afterwards. Security logs are kept for a limited period.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with TLS, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. You can update profile details in your dashboard, turn alert emails off at any time, and unsubscribe from other emails with the link they contain. To exercise other rights, contact us; we respond within one month.

Cookies

We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in and small preference cookies (for example language and theme). If website analytics is enabled, it sets its own cookies to measure visits in aggregate.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the Service or by email before they take effect.
